The Bitter Truth About 2020

Wow!!! it’s the beginning of a new decade and I want to say a big thank you to Almighty God for how far he has brought me. A big thank you also goes to you reading this article. Thanks for always supporting Ronkewrites. As we enter a new year, Ronkewrites has a lot in store for everyone. Before 2020, I sat thinking of what a great year 2020 will be. And since it’s the beginning of a new decade, alot must and will happen. I got scared for a moment and I said to myself “I have alot of dreams to actualize into reality this year,  hope it will come to pass”. The truth of the matter is that when we have goals we want to achieve, doubts will come in, challenges will come, difficulties will emerge but when we stay positive and rooted in our goals, it takes the snap of a finger for things to begin to fall into place. It’s good to stay positive about life but we human beings fail to tell ourselves the truth. As you plan for peace, you must plan for war. Everyone is looking forward to good things this year but the truth is bad things will still happen along the way . You need to have it at the back of your mind that not everything you desire in 2020 will fall into place. The bitter truth is that you will face challenges but you shouldn’t give up on what you want. At a point, you may be broke. Don’t complain, brace up yourself and face the situation. You may also loose a loved one or fall sick. You may be heart broken or betrayed by the person you trust most. Your business may stop flourishing or may even come to a hault. I’m not saying all these to scare you but it’s the bitter truth. It’s better to have it at the back of your mind that all these things can happen so you can face the situations with a positive mindset. Just because you pray everyday and you’re covered by God’s grace doesn’t mean bad situations won’t take a turn in your life. As Christians, we should be prepared for war. It’s best to plan for good and bad so when those situations come up in our lives, we can face them without fear and pull through. I hope you’ve learnt from this wonderful piece. I pray God gives us the strength to overcome every challenge that comes our way. Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
