Merry Christmas, gentlemen! Well, it’s almost that time of year again, the end of yet another year. Is it just us, or are the years going by faster and faster? Well, time flies when you’re having fun. The fun’s not over, though! You already have your New Year’s Eve party plans (right?). Now you just need to figure out what you’re going to wear. You can’t just throw anything on. After all, this is the outfit that you’re going to end and start a year in. You might as well do it with a bang! What you will be wearing ultimately depends on the type of party you will be attending. Have a look at the invitation for what the dress code is, then read on to find some proper inspiration.
The Prohibition Party
These parties are an ode to the Great Gatsby himself. The key to achieving this look is all in the color and texture. Lucky for you, this party is taking place during winter. So, unique textures are readily available. You must rise to the occasion for this kind of party, old sport, so be sure to bring your 1930’s A-game.

The Club Party
This is one of the more trickier outfits to figure out. You don’t want to wear your best clothes, but you want to stand out. For this one, you should think more along the lines of trendy than classy. Don’t be afraid to work with colors, but keep them on the darker side of the spectrum.

The House Party
Unless your friends specifically asked you to suit up, it’s safe to assume you can get more casual on this one. A nice blazer or a thick cardigan ought to do the trick. Oh, and don’t be a jerk. Bring a bottle of booze, a 6-pack of beer, or your favorite party snack to contribute to the soiree, while you’re at it!

The Black Tie
“Black tie” doesn’t literally mean black (bow) tie anymore. More so, it simply means that you should dress to the nines. Stay minimal, but make sure whatever ensemble you choose still speaks volumes.
